Gateway is an employee-only mobile application developed by Seher Organization to manage internal attendance, location-based check-in and check-out, and workforce activities.

This Privacy Policy explains how user information is collected, used, and protected when using the Gateway mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

Personal Information

  • Name

  • Email address or User ID

  • Employee identification details

Location Information

  • Precise location data for attendance, check-in, and check-out purposes

Photos

  • Selfies or images uploaded for attendance verification

Device Information

  • Device identifiers used for authentication, security, and app functionality

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Authenticate users and manage employee accounts

  • Enable location-based attendance and activity tracking

  • Verify attendance using uploaded images

  • Improve application security and performance

  • Maintain internal records and audit logs

4. Data Sharing

We do not share user data with third-party companies or organizations.

All data is transmitted only to our secure backend servers and is used strictly for internal organizational purposes.

5. Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect user data.

  • All data is encrypted in transit using secure HTTPS connections

  • Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only

6. Data Retention

User data is retained only as long as required for operational, legal, and audit purposes.

Some data may be retained for up to 30 days after account deactivation, after which it is permanently deleted.

7. Account and Data Deletion

Gateway is an employee-only application. User accounts are created and managed by the organization through an internal web-based dashboard.

How to request deletion

Employees may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting their organization administrator or by emailing:

ict@seher.org.pk

After verification, the administrator will permanently delete the account and associated data from the system.

8. Children’s Privacy

This application is intended for organizational employees only and is not designed for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
