Child protection is one of the most important thematic areas of SEHER. Violence negligence and abuse, labor, exploitation and discrimination are threats throughout the life cycle of children, which endanger their healthy growth. Focusing one or the other issue of children in isolation may not produce the desired results; therefore SEHER has extended its operations in Jails and other sectors where children are involved in such context. 150 Juvenile Prisoners were provided with formal Education in three District Jails (Quetta, Gaddani and Mach) l 40 Juvenile Prisoners were made trained in Bead Work l 40 Juvenile Prisoners were made trained in tailoring l 32 Juvenile Prisoners were provided with Legal Education 685 Trafficked Children were provided with nutritional stuff including breakfast, lunch and dinner in FIA detention centre Quetta. 16 Trafficked Children were released from FIA detention center and handed over to their parents or guardians l 200 Children were facilitated with medical treatment l300 Children were provided with Legal Advice.
